Did you read the article? They only said that the process to vote went smoothly, despite all the stations having only one machine for 800 voters, causing long wait times and delays. They don't mention anything about third party confirmation of the vote tallies, no references to exit polls, and a huge section dedicated to US interference.

Might as well say "Far left organization supports supposedly far left authoritarian governments word without verification."

You can't flip what was already stated. The one I responded to was literal whataboutism.

Now, now... Don't be upset that they've failed miserably in Korea and Vietnam to do those things.

It's easier to remove or even modify the Reapportionment Act of 1929 to enlarge the total number of electoral votes in the college than it is to remove the Electoral College itself.

I have. I've lived in HOAs where utilities, gardening/lawn care, parking lot upkeep, trash/recycling, community center, were taken care of by the HOA.

You only hear about bad HOAs because people in those HOAs only care about property values from aesthetics. In reality, a good HOA is like a properly run union - taking care of its members by providing cheaper, common services via collective bargaining.

Or, you know, you can order without the drink...

He did not very clearly say that. I have not heard anyone say college like "call-leg".

However, I do concede that it isn't clearly color, either.

I suspect his mind wanted to say "colored" and he corrected himself halfway to "col-legd".

I would question the motives of these red states. Sounds more like an excuse to weaken social programs vs actual divestments against an adversary.

God my feed was actually tolerable by blocking Hexbear and lemmy.ml. hell, it got better after blocking specific users before just blocking the whole instance itself.

Apparently, the true location isn't known anyways. And there's a museum located nearby dedicated to it.

The Beaver, Dartmouth, and Eleanor were moored at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston. It is at this location where the December 16, 1773 destruction of the tea occurred. The original location of the Boston Tea Party no longer exists because of extensive landfills that destroyed the location. This was caused by the city of Boston’s rapid expansion in the 19th century. In 18th century Boston, Griffin’s Wharf was a bustling center for maritime commerce and shipping. The exact location of the original Griffin’s Wharf is open to debate, but the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, located on the Congress Street Bridge, is located near the approximate area where the Boston Tea Party took place. A historical marker commemorating the Boston Tea Party stands on the corner of Congress and Purchase streets.

Considering I stressed about Trump every day when he was President, stressing about an Election every couple of years for a few months is much preferred.

Yeah she isn't inspiring, which is what we need. If she came out today, though, and said she will bring the law down on the GOP's corrupt elements... That might win enough hearts and minds to stir folks out to vote for her. And a good VP pick would inspire further confidence.

But she would really have to hit the ground running and improve her image.
