Threads has fediverse integration, the fediverse like the internet is decentralised its not an entity.

As much as I hate Bezos, ik he's not as brave as Musk to be pissing his money down the drain like that. He ain't turned twitch into a state propaganda machine unlike Elon. If he did that on twatter musk wouldve done fuckall.

Yeah OSINT existing is proof that no backdoor is secure, not even mentioning what you can buy from data brokers, something authorities wouldn't need warrants for.

They literally work for the Fediverse branch of meta, sure its an evil corp and zucks intentions aren't exactly pure (more than likely an effort to lower server costs) but it is something likely to put more eyes onto the fediverse which I definitely think will benefit the fediverse in the long run.

Both govts can suck their dead nans tbh, I just like watching them both destroy each other. But yeh Trump is definitely in the wrong here and u gotta respect China's resilience.

That's why the NSA collects all traffic including whats encrypted, good thing Signal has post-quantum encryption. It's not about that though the US govt had blocked it on their network so he just bypassed those restrictions.

If Norway weren't there Sweden and Finland would look like Russia's cock and balls.

If you have your own mail server and view your mail locally on a client like thunderbird, you can't really view your mail on any machine in which you don't want to be installing an email client on or one that isn't yours. Are there any self-hosted webmail options in which you can log into your email on any machine without using a 3rd party service?

I noticed that on OSMand there's an option which lets you use online navigation, which lets you avoid using up storage space, I think this is particularly useful on a 1-time journey, either long-distance or in an area you won't visit again. You'd also be able to get real-time travel info like public transport times and the quickest routes, granted not as good as google's harvested data, but still something that could be useful.
