Reddit censorship is out of control. I got a warning about ‘violence’ today. My crime? I reported that the guy who is currently spamming every Australian mobile phone with messages about out the ridiculous Trumpet of patriots party is getting spammed back. I said “couldn’t happen to a nicer fascist”. Ffs.

Then having done all the bullshit maths, they found out that Australia was a negative number because we buy more than we sell with the USA. But they slapped a 10% tariff on anyway because we don’t like their beef products because of a little issue of biosecurity.

“Empathy destroys civilisations” according to Musk. If there was ever any doubt that he is a sociopath, the evidence is now abundantly clear. Empathy is what a civilised society is built upon. He is mixing up society and imperialism. Lack of empathy is what imperialists and fascists demonstrate when they invade their neighbours. Other notables who lack empathy are misogynists, abusers, criminals and fraudsters.

Bee-keeping is about the most intensive form of agriculture that we humans have, with one species (and a couple of close relatives) providing pollination for just about every major insect-pollinated crop on the planet. It is particularly extreme in the US. We ship a large proportion of all the hives in the USA to California for the annual almond crop flowering. Then we ship them all back to where they came from. It is a perfect set up for spreading diseases and parasites. In the process of all this, we are depriving native pollinators of sustenance. So the one alternative source of pollination when the bees die has already been decimated every single year.

Given that Xitter is going down the proverbial toilet, I am surprised Reddt didn't see the risks in turning their platform into a right-wing cesspool.
