I am not a developer but I do sometimes recommend software to end users. Unity is dead to me. I will never recommend Unity to anyone for any reason.

The lack of a person watching you check out does not mean no one is watching. They absolutely are and you are being recorded the entire time you are in the store.

Here are a few suggestions:
Volunteer at a soup kitchen or a food pantry
Sign up for a church email newsletter and go there when they are doing pot-luck meals (bring a dish to pass)
If you are into sports, sign up to volunteer as a coach.
Don't buy all of your groceries all at one time. Buy a few things each time and go more often. Even if you don't meet or talk to anyone but the workers, you will be around other people.

RFK's campaign was never about any kind of message or policy issue or even actually trying to win.

His goal in all of this was to exploit his family name to try to bleed off some of the votes from Biden to help Trump win. Now that Biden has dropped out and Harris has taken his place, Trump is getting worried that RFK might actually get more Trump votes than Harris votes. That's okay, I was never going to vote for either RFK or Trump.

Do you have any Amazon add-ons (extensions) installed in Firefox? Did you, or someone who uses your computer, install any software recently?

If it is a Firefox add-on causing the issue and you have more than one that could be the culprit, start by disabling all of them. If that fixes the issue, then it is just a matter of enabling each add-on (one at a time) to discover which one is causing the issue. When you figure out which one it is, uninstall it.

Trump has always rambled incoherently. That isn't new. His base loves him because he represents selfishness and racism. That is who they are. They don't seem to care that he is a coward and a nutjob. Rich people love him because he will do just about anything for anyone who will publicly shine his shoes.

He's a nitwit and he always has been.

I tend to get a new phone every other year. I bought a phone last year so I will probably be excited to see the Pixel 10 next year!

I love the concept, but how would this play out? Servers cost money to operate and maintain. And publishers aren't interested in losing control of an IP or supporting them indefinitely.

So what is the goal here? Single player mode? Old school LAN partys?

The party nomination isn't official until the delegates vote at the convention. That isn't new. The nomination is never final until the convention.

The people voted in the state party primary. Biden and Harris were the incumbents on the Democratic party ticket. Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Vice President Harris as his replacement. If the party does not largely agree that Harris should be the new nominee, they will have an opportunity to vote for someone else at the convention.

For me this doesn't change anything. My vote was always going to be for the Democrat. Not because I love Democrats. I really don't. But because any other vote is basically a vote for the moron in the stupid hat, and I really don't want that.

Rant - Chuck Palahniuk

My favorite version is the audiobook. It's weird sci-fi in all the right ways.

If you have read Fight Club and enjoyed it, you will probably like this too.

While I will be the first person to admit that I don't completely understand either, the concept is pretty simple.

Think of a digital recording being something like sheet music. Sheet music is a set of instructions on how to play a song that anyone who knows how to read music can reproduce.

Digital recordings work in a similar fashion. The playback device reads the instructions which include things like frequency and volume, and is able use that information to make a perfect playback of the digital recording.

Could it be recreated by random chance? Sure. Would it? Probably not. At least not easily.

Fun fact: a small amount of vinegar in the cooking water helps to keep potatoes from getting mushy.
