And sadly now I have to watch a video. Wouldn't step by step instructions be quicker and more effective? Yes. They were. Now it's some video wasting my time.

Not sure that is a great example.

Reddit was like that too.

Because the line break in markdown is two spaces.

Markdown is pretty great to work with.

Not really. At least if you plan to have it customizable in the first place.

That's a lot of effort when you can just freetube.

Last time I was in the states I figured it worked out to about 100 per bag of grocerys.

So they bought 7 bags. Or maybe 5 now.

Easy to do.

Anything but Ubuntu. The "broken or will break" since version 4 but looks like it might be user friendly!

Fedora is more stable these days, and that isn't even my desktop of choice.

Redhat.

Stuck with redhat on the server, had another server with Gentoo, and then Mepis and Debian for desktop.

Now days its arch and fedora.

That's interesting. I have seen lightning split a tree and then follow wires into a house blowing out the wall all long the path of the wires. I have also seen it lift up decking when following underground wires.

But if lightning hits with no lightning rod and ground is equally everywhere I guess I could imagine this result.

Gotta take a stand. There have been a few things where I gotta tell friends that I can't do this. If they won't change... Meh. Gotta have principles.
