The Dems don’t just need to win the popular vote, and they don’t just need to win enough states to dominate the electoral college—they need to win by enough of a margin that victory cannot be snatched away from them by any kind of dirty tricks. No battleground state officials Chewbacca-defencing refusing to accept the vote and getting bailed out 6-3 by the Supreme Court, no Brooks Brothers Riot 2.0, no flood of bogus lawsuits delaying certification until the deadline passes and it falls on the House of Representatives to choose the President, and no other shenanigans they might come up with. Because this time, the apparatus is in place to steal the election if it’s at all close.

All police officers are, by definition, not guilty of anything.

Which territories will the hearing-aid functionality be enabled in? I understand it requires regulatory approval, which exists in the US. What the situation in, say, the EU, UK or Australia?

Judaeochristian settler states stick together

In a few years’ time, Sandu will have had an unfortunate accident with a window, and Moldovan conscripts will be dying in meatwave assaults on the western front of the Ukrainian permawar.

Murdering your wife is one of those things that, no matter what else you achieve in your life, people will say “there goes Hans the wife murderer”. Even if you only ever murdered one wife and have shown no signs of making a habit of it.

I hope not. He has criminal cases to answer.

As grim as that vision is, it’s at least more coherent than Marx’ “withering away of the state”, in which all the commissars and apparatchiks voluntarily dismantle their powers.

That sounds as bad an idea as the other drink, H2O4U

IIRC, they do forbid third-party clients from their network. You can build it from source, but you won’t be able to connect to production Signal servers.

Third-party clients would not necessarily be a bad thing. Signal has limited resources, and as such has to cut corners. I for one would love a native desktop client that’s not Electron bloatware.
