For Tracy Hyde are from Tokyo. I previously posted their song called Underwater Girl that came out in 2020.

As I mentioned the band recently split up, unfortunately and I only discovered them about a year ago. I think a lot of their stuff is fantastic. Some of their tracks give me that tingle of excitement that I still get from finding something I really like.

I just saw this video for the first time and wanted to share it. It's from their final album, Hotel Insomnia

A Lloyd Cole track got posted, so I had to add this track. Camera Obscura's body of work is awash with great songs, check them out if you don't them. I had never seen this video before, so that's a win.

Once, I was in Glasgow and learned they were playing a gig at King Tut's. To my great surprise, it wasn't sold out and I got to see them play. It was great.

Posting this because today I'm catching up with a friend who is about to move to Japan. He and I used to listen to Eels at work, back in the day.

Of all the Britpop bands, Oxford’s Supergrass were perhaps the most fun. This song was about being arrested for possession and it’s 2:17 of energetic, youthful enthusiasm.

I'm going to post this before someone else does and I kick myself. I can't get enough of Alvvays. Does anyone still scrobble with last.fm? I do and this song is equal #1 most played song for me. I can't explain exactly why. I had heard songs like Marry Me, Archie, which was pretty widespread before that, but for some reason this one was the one that hit the bullseye. piped.video link
