Hi all, is there a way to force the keyboard to show for a already existing app? I know that it would be possible to force the keyboard when programming an app, but in this case, I want to show it always for a specific existing app. Thanks!

Does the pixel now allow wired external displays? Alt-dp Mode? Any news of a desktop mode similar to dex?

USB C display out and the ability to connect to docking stations. A reliable and usable desktop mode. The hardware should be good enough for most desktop/office tasks... Would be nice to just carry one device.

Have you seen the Fairphone? It allows to swap the battery and repair other hardware, is ethically sourced and has an extended warranty. Unfortunately the hardware is from 2021. I hope they release a new one this September.

Is Ubuntu Touch still well maintained? I see that most of their releases for phones are still based on Focal and even Xenial.

I have heard that Android 13 is a step back in terms of Desktop mode compared with Android 12. On that second point, modern smartphone CPU are so powerful, it would be good enough as Notebook replacement for most no gamers. Would you agree?

I have been looking at Linux on phones(Ubuntu touch) with the intention to use it both as smartphone as well as desktop replacement. It really fascinates me. But it looks like there is no hardware anymore that supports display out and USB dongles. Why are there no up to date phones that have convergence mode?
