My gf grows these in our garden. They do turn green when cooked, they also turn the water you boil them in blue.

I read that as "lets you grow intestine things" and from the picture I didn't even doubt it
I had a few of those from the garden in a pan with green beans and I was quite surprised when I looked back and they were all green.
Look like flamingo heads in the thumbnail.
