Do you have any idea what this kind of skirt would be called?
Not really. Looks like "half-pleated" might be the closest real thing.
I'm a big proponent of modifying, maintaining and making clothes though, seeing as fashion has become an industry of single-use items.
You might have to embark on buying two skirts of each type, tearing their seams up, and putting them back together into one skirt.
