Why don’t you archive them?

Who are we?
We are digital librarians. Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time). Along the way we have sought out like-minded individuals to exchange strategies, war stories, and cautionary tales of failures.
We are one. We are legion. And we're trying really hard not to forget.

I would love to, but I have this habit of deleting unused account, and so, I don't wish that these files be deleted when I also delete my account.
Torrent? archive.org?
These, and IPFS too perhaps!
Uh… you do understand that this community is more or less about having a comically over-provisioned home NAS server and then just filling it with stuff… right? It’s not about cloud accounts at all, really, outside of using certain archiving and storage services as another layer of backup.
What you're talking about is homelab. This is an open-ended community, with data preservation as one of the many key tenets. I am not a good archivist, neither do I keep my account for a long time on any platform, so I'm requesting for someone else to preserve this data in my stead.
I was under the impression that this was more aimed at a subset of homelab users, tbh
