Welcome to c/WouldYouRather, where we present you with the toughest, most ridiculous choices you never knew you had to make! Would you rather have a third arm that's only useful for picking your nose, or be able to talk to animals but only if they're wearing hats? Yeah, it's that kind of vibe. Come for the absurdity, stay because you've clearly got nothing better to do with your life.

If I could use my scientific mastery to advance technology, that one.

Otherwise, I'd love to do art for Magic cards.

What tech do you wanna work on?

My mind immediately went to solar, but I guess water filtration solutions for global access to fresh water would be good. Maybe a solar-powered water condenser and filter? Pull water out of the air, for places that don't have great water distribution infrastructure, that kind of thing.

Sooo cure cancer or draw the most specific hentai you could imagine. I'm in quite a pickle here.

I'll go for an artistic mind. I have a more serious artistic itch than a scientific curiosity.

Mastery over science and math because (1) I already have a creative background in music and (2) I could do way more innovative stuff in music with a background in science.

Actually this kinda parallels my rationale for going to engineering school.

OK but imagine using other artistic concepts for music.

I already do take inspiration from visual art and writing when I write music. IMO if this happened to me I'd stop reading math and engineering books to go spend time developing my craft in music and art. I think that the process of "developing my craft" is a lot more fun in music than math and science.

Mastery, I can use that mastery and my (admittedly just alright) artistic skills to program the games I want to make.

I feel like I'd just squander the math/science ability by laziness, there'd always be more I could be doing. The other one I could just use once and not even necessarily need again.
