Geocaching is a worldwide scavenger hunt that uses a GPS or phone app with GPS. There are over 3 million active caches around the world. Some are as small as a dime, others are big enough to walk into, all of them provide a unique adventure. We invite you to share your stories, photos, and experiences!

The geocaching is pretty bad around the campus. Only 5 on campus. Been around the UCI area since I'm in OC and it's vastly different. Wonder why. Sure there's less people but I'm sure some of us still play geocache around here? I wonder why.

Sounds like a good opportunity to place some yourself. That would bring more geocachers in and could encourage them to place additional caches. I see nothing listed in the regional geocaching policies to discourage caches on or around campus.

I would place Geocaches around if I knew how to submit one. Can't figure out where to do it on the app. Can't do it in c:geo either. Wish there was a good guide or documentation.

You’ll have to visit geocaching.com in the browser.

Used to live in Irvine and I remember there were some pretty active geocachers who were responsible for a lot of the caches in that area. Just be careful hunting around Irvine PD, I’ve been stopped by them for “suspicious behavior” before.

Hm. Man. I use to geocache with my father. Maybe it's something to do again. Thanks for this reminder!
