I read the guys birth year as when it was painted and got really confused.
Same! I looked it up, it was painted in 2008
Dude was 76 years old?
Currently 92. This has been his jam for quite some time.

I miss my old city sometimes.
When you didn't want to/couldn't pay for a view of the statue of liberty, just hop on the ferry with your family who've come up to visit and enjoy the gentle hum of a massive machine plying the waters quietly at night.
Riding the ferry at night while tripping on acid with my best friend is one of my peak memories.
