Cyberdecks are computers (usually portable) that look to be from the future using futuristic things (like AR goggles) as a display. But Cyberdecks are also DIY (using Raspberry Pis, for example) mini portable computers.

Man those red MSX machines were slick. I almost imported one at one time, kinda wish I did as it seems like prices won't be going down any time soon.

Yahoo auctions Japan is where I think I was looking mostly, it used to be the biggest auction site for Japan, not sure anymore. This is an MSX computer, it was basically Japan exclusive except for a few weird models that made it out. They were pretty influential to gaming, lots of game series had their start on the MSX.

I want one! Augh.
I'll have to settle for living vicariously through Lemeza.

The main character of La Mulana. The menus are presented as software running on his portable MSX and can be extended via cartridges and modules.

I have been thinking about checking that out, is it pretty good?

I really enjoyed it and kick-started the sequel. I've been meaning to play that...

Did they ever get around to porting the game to an actual MSX? IIRC, it got a Switch port recently so the game (and studio) is anything but dead.

They got a whole sequel too. An MSX port would be amazing but that might be up to the fans.
