Best bet for the Dems right now is to make every Biden event, a Biden/Harris event. Join them at the hip, and make them the package. Keep the advantages of the incumbent, with the backup of a healthy VP to assure the public.

That's going to accomplish one thing only: making Kamala even more toxic to voters than she's already made herself.

Her being mostly behind the scenes where she doesn't get much Biden stink on her is the kindest thing they did to her since handing her the job.

Their opponent is a felon, rapist, accused pedophile, with a record of taking away women's rights.

Kamala is sometimes rude.

You see how that doesn't really compare? Especially given she doesn't have to sell a policy agenda of her own, she just has to lay down how she's going to keep Biden's winning agenda on track.

This is an exercise in risk management. I feel the bigger risk is to leave him in place. Unfortunately, i don’t see the kind of dispassionate calculation necessary for us to avoid descending into a fascist hellscape.
