So not only do I get to be sad I don’t live any of those places, I am also sad I can’t afford to live any of those places.

Well… maybe sterling…

To be fair Chorley apparently has cheaper housing and average rent prices than Stirling, if you can bring yourself to choose 17th place over 12th!

Chorley you can’t be serious.

Sorry I couldn’t resist. Bargain!

I love that the main image is two of the most bored looking people I've seen in a while.

They look like they’re victims escaping a flood.

I lived in a village outside of Hexham and it is indeed quite a nice place. It kind of flies under the radar when it comes to Northumbrian towns, too, since most are along the coast or in the south east nearer Newcastle

Where’s Bath? Was a lovely place to visit.

Maybe the large number of tourists annoys the locals?

Hitchin isn't East of England, it's in Northamptonshire and west of London centre.

between Cambridge and Luton

Pretty sure Hertfordshire (where Hitchin is) is East of England

If you follow the logic that makes Hertfordshire East of England, then Greater London should also be East of England.
