She's right. If we didn't have soft dick mcgee team in the Bundestag, Russia would have never invaded Ukraine. Sachs, Mearsheimer even Kissinger (rest in piss) share this opinion with Merkel.

I’ve never heard anyone lay any of the blame on Germany before. The European powers seem so subservient to US dictates. Merkel has admitted to knowing that the West was never going to honor the Minsk agreements, and that all happened on her watch. Was she unable to intervene, or unwilling?

This is a good point, thinking Merkel would have prevented the war is laughable. Never knew Kissinger felt the same though
