"null" is a private community created specifically for GolfNovemberUniform's posts to keep them in one place and avoid disagreements with communities' admins. It usually includes content about privacy, free and open-source software (FOSS) and operating systems such as Android, Linux and Microsoft Windows.

Nobody except the admins can post in this community, at least for now.

However everyone can comment here so some rules apply:

  1. (Most important) NO DISRESPECT OF DIFFERENT OPINIONS ON ANY TOPIC. This means that you are allowed to disagree but you're not allowed to say (or even think for that matter) that someone's opinion is invalid or wrong. Breaking this rule will result in the most severe punishments.

  2. No discrimination, especially one based on religion or nationality.

  3. No hate speech. If you disagree or even think that someone should be imprisoned, try to say it in a civil and informative way.

  4. No politics. Comments about politics will be deleted, even if the topic is related to the post. Discussion of digital rights and surveillance related politics/laws is allowed to a reasonable extent.

  5. No NSFW.

  6. No advertising. You can recommend a product or even give a link but don't make advertising (spam) comments.

  7. No spam. This is obvious.

If you break the rules, we can warn you or ban you (temporarily or permanently). Severity of the punishment is chosen by admins.

Many features are still incomplete and barebones but I think it's good to have it installed, especially for those who share and post photos all the time.

This app promotes or depends entirely on a non-free network service

I think it uses it for background removal.

This app tracks and reports your activity

I'm not sure about that but I know VPNs have that anti-feature. It either has some telemetry or it's because of third-party network service integration.

Thanks ! I'll see if I can figure out what it is exactly that's telemetered. And thanks for the recommendation, I was just on the lookout for an image editor
