I got the original on Steam a while back because I was craving to play it again, and I couldn't even really stomach my way through the whole tutorial segment because hoo boy the controls were dated. That's the main reason I am looking forward to these; tighten up the controls to be modern, now that we've actually figured them out for 3D environments.

This kind of thing always makes me wonder how the heck I got through them when they were new. It's very much not like riding a bike lol

Glad to hear it, modern updates are always welcome. I played the first on dreamcast back in the day, I remember it having some good action.

Maybe I'll try them as I never got to try them back in the day but had a friend that loved them.

Cool we're getting this. I played the demo a bit on Dreamcast and haven't really gone back. A lot of early 3D games don't hold up well by modern standards so it's good to see we're getting updates like this.

Inject them straight into my arm please. Also, Amy Henning is an absolute treasure and I miss her writing. I lost track of her work once she left Naughty Dog. She shaped so much of the good narratives we still have in an age where every game is written like a care bear episode.
