The 2003 one is very well done. I am a little older and grew up enjoying "Hook" with Robin Williams, which also has a 6.8 imdb rating.

I do not judge what I like based on what others like. Hook is a close second for me.

Keep in mind I glossed over the really terrible parts of the book. I'm glad almost none of the modern adaptations go into that.

This one had the best trailer by far but I thought the movie was underwhelming. I remember being bored watching it in theaters along with the rest of my family. But I love Hook.

As you've never see it before... Except for all the other movies... and the TV series... an the comics... an the cartoons... and the movie cartoons.
