Fit Chicks, Athletic Women, and Inspiration

47 readers
1 users here now

A celebration of women athletes—those who embody strength, resilience, and dedication.

It’s a space where we appreciate the diverse ways women embrace fitness, from powerlifters to yogis, runners to crossfitters.

This community is all about recognizing the beauty of health, strength, and the power of women committed to their fitness journey.

For now, only mods can post to ensure we maintain the focus on athleticism rather than influencer-style content. We're aiming to highlight fit women in their sports environments—showing their dedication, skill, and strength.

Hey... look... I respect your jive, but but maybe tone it down with the posts. Give about 1 or 2 a day or else it starts to seem a bit creepy

Sometimes you have a bunch of images to post and not a lot of time.

Lemmy is still a small, but growing platform. It needs content if it wants to compete with Reddi. So I'm providing content. And brah, calm down, I posted 8 pictures. lol

It's not "creepy" to post pics of athletic people who inspire with their strength. And I don't only post to this community. I post to a LOT of different communities and I've also started and mod a fitness/strength community. On this instance and other instances.

There are few things worse than finding a cool-sounding community on Lemmy, then going there and seeing one post. So when I start a brand new community I try to put some content in it right away.

Thank you! :)
