There might be a silver lining to a muted reaction here, if a third party can expect to send troops to support Ukraine and also face no backlash.

@Sunshine He is not wrong lots of talk 'concern' but no action. If Ukraine falls and Muscovy meatwaves come to Western Europes backyard within next ~ 10years we know who to blame πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

10 years is two or three election cycles from now. Every government we have in western Europe is far too scared to do anything when they can just... Not.

What reaction is he expecting? Everyone has confirmed the troops are there. There really isn't anything economical anyone can do to North Korea that isn't already being done. And everyone is already sending money and weapons to Ukraine.

The US could start by allowing Ukraine to strike targets in Russia using US-provided long range weapons. That should have happened from the get-go. But it is something we can do today that would help.

Biden’s too chickenshit on that front to make any meaningful change to our policy there. Hopefully Harris will be better in that regard.

The US election is paralyzing the presidency from making any big moves until it's over. I think that's why the NK involvement was timed to start now, and also why Israel chose to start their genocide now. It's a good time to start bullshit and not be punished for it.

I thought I saw an article recently that said they could use the long range missiles. I might be mistaken though.

Honestly the entire "here's these weapons but you can't use them unless we say so" part of the war is crazy to me.
