Just because a game is not on top of charts does not mean 'dead'

People have been calling BattleBit Remastered dead since release, lmao

[–] ByteOnBikes@slrpnk.net 16 points 3 days ago

Apparently if it's not cross promoting on Mountain Dew or something, people think it's dead.

Eh, Halo is dead to me. After what 343i has done with it, the fact it has any players at all is honestly sad. The rename of the studio isnt going to help, they aren't any different except for the name.

Halo 4 was wack.

Halo 5 hasn't been released on PC yet.

Halo infinite was pretty good, but forgettable.

Replaying the remastered Halo trilogy, yeah... They'll never recapture that magic.

I'm surprised to see For Honor still going. That was the last game I ever pre-ordered. Even back then, I didn't really pre-order, but the open beta was really good. Unfortunately the broken end game (it has been years, I can't remember the exact mechanic) wasn't revealed in the beta, so after about a week or two I hit that bullshit and it wasn't fun and I never came back. I think I only got 40 hours of total play time, including the campaign. Lesson learned, though.

Ok but Chivalry II is the best multiplayer game of all time

What other game can you throw a peasant at an enemy knight for the kill

Deceive Inc. is such a good game. Charming characters and an art style that really immerses you in a fun way. They learnt a lesson really quickly that's taken so many other games years to get right - buff the weaker, less fun stuff rather than nerfing the fun, overused things.

It's just a shame that the multiplayer only market is so saturated at the moment with games trying to monopolise your attention. To even get people to try it is difficult due to the entry cost - which is a fair £17.
