Man, if I didn't know the context of this series coming to an early end, then I would be confused as hell. In the end, this fiancee served little purpose other than to tell Taiyou to go confess. At least with Hiiragi, she is being pushed by the friends that we have spent time getting to know and have grown closer to her. It doesn't feel as out of place on her side of things.
The real question is, do you think they will find the Tsuchinoko before the series ends?
This is just a wasted series. I have to wonder why it got axed.

I guess it'll be okay all in all - I mean, they're going to end up together, and that's the important part.
I just wish it could've kept moving at its own pace and reached this point naturally.
