It exists.

Maybe it didn't make it to your instance?

I see that, but the number in the panel doesn't correspond to the one in the title?

Ah! We did miss one.

Nr 31. I'll have to post that one.

Is this how all Grokes are created?

Probably not, there is just one. I dont think this is her actual "origin story" though if she even has anything concrete.

Groke (or Mörkö in finnish) is somewhat mysterious entity. She either hates warmth or craves it terribly and either way will freeze everything, can't say which.

In the cartoon/anime she just appears one day, looking for a thing that was taken from her. Moomins had never heard of her before. Also, in the cartoon/anime she is absolutely terrifying, like nightmares for years grade terrifying for kids.

This is how new Pokemon are created.

Oopsie! XD

It's interesting to notice how often they seem to switch between this adult mindset and then again just being straight up kids. I guess that's also of value in the books

disconcerning [intentional] to read "his" being used for a generic person

To be fair, Tove wrote these in swedish. They were then translated to english by her brother Lars, whose english was better, but still not author level.
