Most eggs you buy from the grocery store have not been fertilized. Hens lay eggs regardless of whether they mated or not.

It's more akin to eating the red carpet than eating an aborted fetus, but even that would not hold up well.

So its probably a menstrual product. Very appropriate for a "holy" day, considering menstrual blood is still considered "unclean" in most fundamentalism circles
