From reddit:

We’re collaborating with other third-party launcher developers to gather feedback on common issues affecting users across different devices. The goal is to improve the experience for everyone using custom launchers.

In October, we’ll be attending a Google event and meeting with members of the Android team. It’s a great opportunity to share our findings, and your input could play a key role in helping us bring these concerns directly to Google.

Take a quick moment to complete our survey: Survey Link

Your feedback is important and could help improve the Android launcher experience for everyone. Thank you for helping us make a difference!

Nova regularly stops refreshing the screen. I know it's working in the background as I see small tells like the keyboard appearing when I tap things.

I have to press the power button to switch the screen off and back on again to fix. Happens several times a day.

Nova support said it's an android issue not a nova one they can fix.

I think it's a commonly known bug by now.

I have not seen that, but I have seen that using gesture navigation, sometimes when I swipe up and hold to see the menu of open apps, there's a Nova launcher app with just a transparent gray screen. selecting it just goes home, and closing it does nothing.

Filled out the survey, hope it helps.

Total Launcher on, Samsung A52S 5G, Android 14, has for the most part, been a good experience, for nearly Three years now.

Gestures are smooth but animations are a little clunky and the App exhibits some strange behaviour on occasions.

The Launcher's quality seems to vary with manufacturer, some users report issues.

The sheer level of customisation is what keeps me on board, there's no other Launcher on Playstore that offers the same level of finite adjustments.

I haven't had too many issues with mLauncher, only the occasional freeze and crash. But it is a pretty lightweight launcher. Kvaesitso, which is a lot heavier, has had more issues for me. Is stability a common problem for third-party launchers? Even very popular ones like Nova?

Not stability, I think it's more about smoothness and integration with the system. Gestures were broken with third party launchers for a long time and still aren't as good as system

Microsoft launcher on my Nokia T20 3GB version and on that little memory the tablet had regular crashes. Went back to stock no fine
