To be fair, they probably are holding their military hardware orders hostage over stuff like this. And they don’t really have any other options on who to buy from.

Venezuela should not be concerning itself with military hardware given the state of their economy. Their government should be busy finding a quiet corner to die in so people with some competence can lead.
