This is a community for art in any medium. Welcome!

Rules:

  1. This is a community to discuss all things related to art. Posts should be relevant to art, such as sharing art or news about art. To clarify, when we say "any medium," this includes media such as painting, film, music, literature, performance, video games, etc.
  2. Keep things civil. Critiquing art is fine but attacking other users for their opinions is not.
  3. Avoid excessive self-promotion. Yes, this is subjective and will be based on how popular this community becomes overall. If you can see a post about your own work on the first few pages, don't post another.
  4. Follow site-wide rules

I think it'd be quicker to make a list of artists that are okay with it.

  • ~~Ted~~ Kid Rock (don't comment at 3 in the morning kids)
  • Ted Nugent

End of list. (probably?)

There are a lot of conservative musicians. Many of them are known for being shitbags.

He could probably get away with the Misfits depending on the era, Johnny Ramone, Eric Clapton, Johnny Rebel, (maybe) David Allen Coe, Neal McCoy, a bunch of other country artists, Johnny Rotten, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, (maybe) Dave Mustane, and several other older rock guys.

I've mentioned the pipeline from crystal clutching kooks to MAGA before, and it seems like there's also a smaller pipeline of formerly heavily drugged out rockers to conservatives as well. I get country artists because a lot of them tied their religion to their musical identity, but the only thing I can figure about the counter culture folks is that they're just contrarian and like whatever isn't popular at the moment. Either that or they're dope fucked from years of meth and coke.
