Cool trailer and all, but they seem to have copied the interiors, the exteriors and even the back story directly from Dredd? o_O

Seems like it! That reminds me- I should watch Dredd again!

Absolutely. Looks like a project that didn’t get the rights.

Saw thumbnail and literally thought "weird they didn't put any Dredd branding in the title?"

Wtf does "unreal in engine" even mean?

[–] slimerancher@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

It means that it's a cinematic trailer, but it's also not actual gameplay. They took what they have implemented in the game, and made the trailer from that.

Unreal means that they are using Unreal Engine.

Everyone knows what unreal engine is bro. But as a turn of phrase people usually say "built with UE4“ or" using UE5" or some other verb/preposition. Not unreal in engine. It doesn't make sense.

Ah. Yeah, I agree that it doesn't make too much sense, grammatically. But not everyone here has English as their first language, so just clarified.

As for the title. It's same as YouTube video title, OP just copied it exactly as is.

I'll have to check this out.
