Good chapter. I like that Oda filled the plot hole. So basically by the time he figured out York was the traitor, everything was already in motion and it was too late to run. I'm okay with that.

Good chapter showing Vegapunk was playing chess, not checkers. Although, I sometimes wonder how much of this was planned by Oda ahead of time and how much of it is retroactive

I bet they arrive on Elbaf and the giants are like "oh you just missed Shanks" and I anticipate a misunderstanding when Luffy runs into Kidd and is like "I can't believe my hero did this to you" and the giants keep being like "No, you have it all wrong, Kidd is the asshole"

So this is the ending of the egghead arc? In my opinion some questions still need to be answered, like:

  • who gave Luffy food so he could re-enter gear5
  • what did Lucci do to Stussy in egghead
  • how can Lucci survive and leave egghed?
  • what happens to the giant Robot Emeth & Saint Saturn? I hope we get answers to those .... Speculative / might not get an answer:
  • is Punk Records self conscious?
  • how will the cloud fabrication device by Vegapunk get saved from this?
