So I went ahead and converted it into a much more janky izzet deck that gifts my playgroup symmetrical damage triggers so that even when I die, the game continues its downward spiral.

I'm still looking for cards to help me cast stuff both from not my hand, and not on my turn to maximize my commanders potential. Any suggestions are welcome.

That deck gave me a good laugh but I wouldn't want to play against it ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's a good, relatively short time. It was made for two main reasons:

  • my playgroup often has 5 or 6 players.

  • it's a call back to my mutually assured destruction first edh deck from the way back times.

Most games do not have more than 3 to 4 different things out at any given time, rampaging ferocidon is apparently a second partner as I've pulled it early for the couple of games I've run this deck with. It is very weak to most interaction, and doesn't really do much without the commander.

My most recent game had three descent into avernus' out. That was a nice clock for people to realize they're on.

My husband has a vaguely similar build using ghyrson starn but it doesn't have half the power that yours does. As much as he loves that commander it disappoints him every time he plays it. I'll have to show him this deck list for a little inspiration.

I will not claim it's a good deck for winning, but I do always have a good time playing it.
