This is excellent news, I have never been a fan of the look of Bitwarden, and my gf always liked more 1Password (she still uses my Vaultwarden though).

Also I'm a sucker for monet UI so yeah, bring that on!

I've been using the Firefox extension on Android. 99% of the time I need my password manager on websites rather than apps anyway and the browser extension's behavior when filling seemed nicer than the app's.

And my UX issues with Bitwarden have nothing to do with scrolling not feeling native:

  • The most important buttons are always at the top where they're hard to reach and they are not marked properly by outlines.
  • It's really easy to forget to save a new entry (especially with the cumbersome buttons at the top) and there's no drafts zone either.
