  • Low price means low quality
  • Low price means low workers wage
  • Low price and a country outside the EU/US etc. means it's probably just enough to pass regulations
  • Chinese tech products, eg. TikTok, literally take videos of you. Why should a chinese car or other product be different?
  • It would support China in becoming a dominant force in the market, making us depend on it
  • Chinese products will have less support than local ones, and you'll have less consumer rights
