Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Is it somehow possible to jump to the next top level comment in a thread? I find it really tedious to scroll through or collapse subcomments I'm not interested in. There was a button in Infinity for Reddit for this. I didn't see something alike here in Jerboa.

Oh boy, I got good news for you. That is a great feature that I am also looking forward to and I already saw it in the github pull requests! The preview looks really good (better than e.g. the current implementation in Boost for Reddit which is way too small and disappears after some time). Not sure if it is in the next version but it should hopefully be added soon!

It's in 0.35, which is currently out on github, it should make it to f-droid and google play soon

(Copypasta) I know. I specifically mentioned that. Problem is, I might still need to scroll a lot to get back to the top level comment if I read a while in a lengthy discussion.

Luckily it seems that the feature is coming sonn. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.

The latest version (0.0.35) is out already and has this feature. So far it's only on github I think, but you could install it from that apk if you can't wait for the play store release.

Some other things might be broken (default sort no longer seems to be remembered for instance) and you'll have trouble connecting to instances that are not yet on lemmy 0.18 (this might be the majority currently; lemmy.ml is a big one that already updated), but apart from that, it's looking good.

Alright. I can wait for the play store release. Thanks a lot for the info! :)
