The strange ox is definitely something, tho I still don't know what (not searching yet to see if I can find out ingame), you can talk to it with the spell speak to animals, the interaction is intriguing.

yep, but it seemed to lead to absolutely nowhere. Left me a bit puzzled.
Kinda leaning on the theory it might be a druid who wants some bovine action, or something equally weird, and thats why they won't speak up on what they are up to.
You'll be able to meet him again later in the game and might learn something more about what's going on with that ox.
