Is there a way to keep the "hot" page from auto-updating in desktop browser view? (lemmy.world)

Tried clicking "hot" since "active" got a little stale. Saw a few interesting links, but before I could click anything, they all got pushed down by a dozen new links. Is there a way to freeze it until I refresh?

This is a bug which was already reported on their github page. I don't have the link to the bug report on hand right now, but they're working on it
