Hmm, I don’t have an account on Feddit. Does anyone have a direct line to the Feddit admins? I’d like to have a look at this bug to fix it asap, but I don’t have an account and I don’t want the account creation process to take too long due to the influx of new users.

- Is Mlem available for Android?
- No. Mlem is written using SwiftUI, which is not currently supported on Android. If such support becomes available, we will look into bringing Mlem to our Android friends.

- We are currently testing our new 2.0 codebase on TestFlight. We have two beta groups: a weekly group that receives the current state of our development branch every week, and a stable group that receives a curated pre-release build at the end of each development cycle.

maybe you didn't put @feddit.de after your username? Or the other way around, that you shouldn't put your user name but select the server in another way?
Hm no this doesn’t work either unfortunately. Think it’s a bug in the app?
It only shows you should enter the username and password, which I did.
Putting @feddit.de together with the username doesn’t work either and would be „against“ the suggestion in the field I guess.

Of course. Did a Screen Recording and uploaded it to my Synology NAS. Link is valid for one day. Recorded trying to add the account using the credentials of my login manager as well as logging in with those credentials via the browser. You should get an email with a special link. Try downloading that build and logging in again, hopefully I did it correctly and it will show the raw error
Well it worked but the error was {"error": "Unknown"}
BUT I figured it out! Your app wasn't able to handle special chars in my password. I changed my password to something without special chars and now it works!
Specifically I had the special chars { [ @ } < . and # in my password. So somewhere here is the issue and some kind of character here is breaking your password field or your API request. Maybe some escape you're doing?

Sounds good! Thank you for your help! :) Btw, the app works great now that I can test it. One suggestion: Big posts shouldn't be fully visible in the feed. It'd be better if you'd see a preview and had to click on it to see the rest of the post. But besides that it looks awesome!
I uploaded a new version (16) where I tried to properly escape the special characters. I wonder if that will fix the original problem.

Btw will I get build 16, too now? Because the test build is a higher number with 99999 or whatever it was. Or do I have to leave the testflight and rejoin now?

Oh, right! I will remove you from the private TestFlight. After that, delete Mlem, wait for 10 minutes, and install it again. You should get version 16.
