Just stumbled across this video about Devin and thought to ask the lemmy hivemind about their opinions on this. Is it bait? Is something to take serious?

First of all, it's AI, your germaness is leaking.

Apart from that, I'm actually not sure if that thing is fraud or the first step towards automated development.

In its current state, it's a glorified tech demo, not more. But if the tech behind it is sound, and can be adapted to work with existing code bases, that could actually be a game changer.
