Hello, sh.itjust.works community!

A few months ago we began accepting donations to help cover the hosting and equipment costs of running this instance. We hae been overwhelmed by your generosity and support! It truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for helping to keep this instance running.

We would like to take an opportunity today to encourage everyone to also support Lemmy software development. We would not be here without the years of work that the software devs have put into creating this tool. There are certainly some users here with strong political opinions toward the lead developers. However, at the end of the day, we are all creating and maintaining this community together.

Damn, 2500 a month for developing software is all y'all want? That's an absolute steal. I appreciate the work y'all do, and glad you posted this. I wasn't aware of what happened to keep this site working.
