A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.

Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Just so you know, you don’t have to announce if you’re leaving a community. Just go. Nobody cares

Lmao I hope in a couple of years someone just takes the twitter branding and rebuilds it.

Not that I am a fan of twitter, may that plattform burn in hell, but just to shove it into Musks face.

If the domain lapses, and I doubt it will, someone should make Twitter.com a Mastodon instance.

If a domain squatter gets it... my money is on Twitter.com becoming either a porn site, or a casino.

Who wants to tell him about Xorg and their product X11?

You mean the outdated piece of software that everyone (on Linux) used, which is slowly being replaced by multiple different implementations all based on the same standard? Seems to me like an apt (no pun intended) metaphor.
