X-Men don't get their powers until puberty
Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Both professor x and his sister had their powers in utero. Nightcrawler famously developed his powers pre-puberty, he was zipping around both physically mutated (from birth) and his teleportation as a young child. Generally mutants develop powers at puberty, but that's just a rule of thumb.
As much as I appreciate a good "well actually", neither of the two mutants featured in the comic got their powers in utero.
I was actually just responding to your "well actually". That's funny!
Nightcrawler didn't get his powers in utero (although his physical mutation exists since birth, but was just as much related to his parentage), but he's literally one of the only mutants to have been famous for his fully active mutant power as a child.
I would "akshualy" be remiss in not mentioning that physical and mental stress activates almost as many mutants as puberty!
Oh nice, I went down a rabbit hole with this: Jamie Maddox too, some of the Morlocks, Legion definitely, and even Cable showed some in infancy.
X2 as well, but that might just be the result of army engineering her that way
I was super disappointed I didn't get mutant powers when I hit puberty. Like, I knew it was fictional, but it seemed so plausible.
The do in the second bubble doesn't fit. The saying is "You think you have a problem.. blah blah blah"

What kind of word is "poof?" That baby is clearly making a "bamf."
I feel like I'm missing context...
EDIT: Wait. This is X-men. Took me a moment...
Eh, I'll give it a pass I guess.
Mystique is Nightcrawlers father though, Destiny is his mother. The only canon I'll accept from the comics themselves from now on.
I don't think Mystique has considered how a Bamf! would affect her uterus from the inside.
