Not sure if anyone’s interested in looking at this.

I’ve been playing Expedition 33 and just beat a tough optional boss. It’s a new rpg with an outstanding soundtrack & vision and needs some good reflexes.

It’s in 2 parts because I had to take a phone call.

Have fun if you decide to have a look at it.

I don’t know how it’ll handle over on the pc side as I got the ps5 version.

The music is outstanding and I love it so much, and the setting and so far where I’m at with the story is so great.

I’m playing on standard difficulty, it needs pretty precise timing to get parries to work but there’s dodging if parries don’t quite work out.

It can be made easier by lowering the difficulty and some little things can be turned off like the QuickTime button presses.

My little boss battle almost falls apart at the end of the part 2 video.

I haven't played games like this for a long time, ( tho i was a very early partaker of games and even used to do the pictures and code some )

i'm careful with money is all

all i have is a asus gamer pc 🙂

Well it’s not going anywhere so you have plenty of time to make sure of things and also could always wait for a decent discount as well.

This game looks soooo good, think I'm going to have to nab it. Will probably play on the lowest difficulty, but stuff like this is so cool to see. Thanks for sharing!

[–] Duenan@aussie.zone 2 points 6 days ago

I’m glad you liked it!

Wasn’t quite sure about sharing but I was recording it for someone else as well.

I can now poorly pluck Aura Lea on the acoustic guitar. Slowly I'm learning haha

I wasn't sure if it was Curie or Anna Roentgen considering it was her hand that was the first X-ray

Today in one of the classes I observed, I heard some young people talking about how silly the Clive Palmer ads are. The thing I love about being in schools is that there are brilliant young minds and many of them can think critically and consider multiple perspectives. The other thing is that school can act as a protective measure against being an asshole in some aspects. A kid said something inappropriate to get a kick out of his mates and the teacher chatted to them about why he said it and why it was the wrong thing to say.

I don't think the kids are really enjoying my lessons right now, and I guess that's kind of sad, but okay. I had some teachers in school who made me enjoy some subjects I didn't love (e.g. had a teacher who taught history through storytelling, English through lots of modelling and active learning, maths through linking it to the universe). Maybe I'm not that right now, but one day I could be.

Another thing is that with kids who have been through trauma, you can potentially be someone who is a stable and trustworthy adult in their lives and show them what a safe relationship looks like. Again, those are VERY big shoes to fill, but I aspire to be someone who supports and advises young people to reach their potential.

I taught a liver function class to 12 sleeping students one time. It was dry content, they didn't need to know it, it was on the syllabus but not the exam.

F YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had a knock on the door and the police handed me back my mower and whipper snipper plus a 6ah and 5ah battery. Thats the bulk of my replacement costs there! all appears to be working as well. Still short a few tools and batteries, but police know who did it they are just trying to find him.

Woah I wonder how they managed that!

[–] just_kitten@aussie.zone 8 points 1 week ago

The police actually followed up! With that kind of luck you might have to buy a lotto ticket

[–] Bottom_racer@aussie.zone 8 points 1 week ago

Shit that's lucky!

Why is going to Chemist Warehouse such a stressful experience? Narrow isles with too many people, long waits for prescriptions and then waiting in a line to collect them. Then another line to pay. Or maybe my local is just a bad one. This place is a time suck.

Hey @briongloid@aussie.zone we're in May not March. I blame Yarrabyte for not turning up today.

Didn't you hear? We're time travelling.

Yeah, someone else offered an explanation that made more sense and I think I was definitely wrong on the internet. Which is annoying because normally I’m the one being really picky about sources and reading comprehension.

All I can say is that I haven’t been sleeping and have been vomiting today. The past few days have been rough so I wasn’t thinking too clearly when trying to get something that seemed important out there.

Also I’m a bit defensive (when normally more chill) because others (not on Lemmy) have been stirring me up. 😑
