Damn :/ I have some colleagues that work in that city.

The stats are interesting tho. 40 gun deaths in 2024 with a population of 10.5M is less than 8% of the per capita deaths of the US. (16576 @ 340M)

Still anything >0 is too many. Luckily it looks like the deaths are going down again tho.

Yes, the current government in Sweden has actively been working on combating organized crime (which most of these murders are related to), but it takes time for new policies to come into effect.

Are those all deaths by guns or specifically attacks against random victims?
