I am old enough to remember when Ariel Sharon, the butcher of Lebanon, Sabra and Chatila said the same thing after "ending" the invasion of Lebanon (except the southern Lebanon for another 20 years).
He declared victory and defeat of PLO and end of the Palestinian resistance.
