I have no issues with the sex cards as such, but in the game the sex scene are often at the stranges and dumbest times. It breaks the tone and pacing of the story all the time, if they cut those it will make the game a lot better, in my opinion.

I'm sorry to say this is very faithful to the books.

Well, that is then only another addition to my list of reasons not to read those books.

I thought the books were great, at least the Geralt short stories. The Netflix series tracks the books well, at least in the first season, so if you liked that, you'd probably like the books.

The main series has little to do with Geralt and I never bothered reading them.

I don't really like Geralt as a character, because most of the time he is a huge pile of 💩, a grim dark anti hero. I liked to play Witcher 1 because of his lost memories he was a much nicer and reasonable character, unlike his self in Witcher 3 which I only played for maybe six hours and put then away.

I have seen 2 episodes of the series, no interest in seeing more.

I'll never understand people's fear of sexual content.

I don't fear sexual content, on the contrary, but often it is added in a very bad and inopportune manner. There is a time for sex and that is not in the middle of a bloody battlefield or in a cave while outside a mob prepares to kill the witch inside.

There's no inopportune time for sex scenes, only an inopportune mindset

You are free to see it that way and I accept that, but I am also free to have a different opinion on that matter.

Good on them. There are parts in old games which are not worth remastering without changing them
