Procrastinated biiiig time today but wow, I have to confess, when I finally got around to it... ChatGPT saved me hours of time and heaps of mental energy by spitting out a perfect script that did exactly what I needed it to and I got the thing done in 5 minutes. Even was able to get an instant solution when I initially got an error (it was because my Python path environmental variable had been misconfigured which was an easy fix). And able to get it to explain or run snips of the code to see what the output would be like...
I feel a bit dumber for not figuring it out myself but then again, seriously, I have better things to be doing with my time and brain right now. So excited that this did what I needed!
I'm pretty ignorant of the details but it's my general experience that GIGO applies
sounds to me like you're very skilled and knowledgeable and can use tools well
i would be totes clueless
I can see why everyone just uses Shopify for online stores these days. I went with Woocommerce because it's free, but setting up variable items like clothes with different sizes is such a headache.
It's a manual process either way. You either go into every product and set up the variations yourself, or you upload one CSV, have to turn on product variations for each product individually, then upload a second CSV with all the variations.
It's probably just me, but as a user, geez I hate Shopify. Thank you for choosing anything else
I don't like it. They charge a monthly fee and a percentage of sales. They're also trying to become like a platform for online shopping, like they're trying to muscle in on becoming a monopoly.
And they seem pretty content with making it easy to start your own AI generated dropshipping store. They're trying to sell the dream so they can collect that subscription money. Starting a store is only the first step, not the final destination.
Exactly this. Charge subscriptions, plus fees for add-ons that should be there in the first place. Ugh!
Plus they also leaked all my personal details. Thanks Shopifuckers.

The doc wouldn't drain mine. Now I have a lump in my ear.
YarraByte seems to be taking the 1st off in honour of labour movements worldwide.
So the rest of the family here missed out on a whole table being delivered. I just brought it in from the front step.
We've got one of those Google doorbells so once I find one of the old Home Minis we have kicking around I'm going to set it up in the back half of the house so they can hear the doorbell
