Their business is being on show. Not having a black outfit in case of a relative dying or some period of national mourning would be a case of you-had-one-job.

IIRC it was a record label conflict, not unlike TS re-releasing her earlier works.
Quickest way to get Trump in a black suit is to start calling him “poor” and note that he doesn’t have a big enough entourage or money to also have a black suit. Reverse psychology works well on him and comparing him to others.
