Explanation: In WW1, the Isonzo river was the site of numerous (mostly failed) offensives by Italy. The Battle of Caporetto is sometimes also known as the Twelfth Battle of the Isonzo.

The 12th.

Not 12th in Italian history. 12th since Italy entered WW1.

In 1915.
